Texas A&M – Kyle Field Lighting Upgrade

Big Lighting Upgrade Coming to Kyle Field’s 2026 Season

A major lighting transformation is underway at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field and it’s one Aggie fans won’t forget anytime soon.

Construction is in full swing as Sportsbeams begins a full-scale LED lighting upgrade ahead of the 2025 college football season opener. Over 400 of our new Chromabeams LED 1500 fixtures are being installed, all featuring cutting-edge, all-in-one RGBW tech capable of high-impact light shows and vibrant effects synced to music, video, and game-day moments.

This marks Sportsbeams’ first college football stadium project and follows our successful lighting installation at Texas A&M’s Reed Arena. The Texas A&M Kyle Field Lighting upgrade is designed to enhance fan experience like never before — from synced pre-game hype to patriotic tributes and post-touchdown celebrations.

Sportsbeams’ patented tech eliminates the need for separate RGB fixtures. That means deeper color, smoother control, and next-level energy on the field — without compromise. While Aggie maroon may remain elusive due to pigment limitations, just about every other color is on the table.

Programming is expected to begin shortly after installation wraps. Once complete, the Texas A&M Kyle Field Lighting system will be run in partnership with 12th Man Productions to energize the crowd all season long.

Stay tuned – the finished look is coming soon, and it’s going to be worth the wait.
