Lighting the Hump: Sportsbeams at Humphrey Coliseum
In 2018, Sportsbeams upgraded the Mississippi State University Humphrey Coliseum Lighting system, the proud home of Mississippi State University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams. The arena was outfitted with our LED 800 fixtures (a predecessor to today’s Chromabeams Nova fixture); making it one of the first to use our signature Chromabeams™ RGBAW color technology.
The Humphrey Coliseum‘s lights continue to deliver vibrant, high-output performance for every game and event. From crisp white light to immersive color effects, the lighting enhances both player visibility and fan experience.
Years later, we’re proud to still support one of the SEC’s most passionate crowds with lighting engineered for long-term impact. The Mississippi State University Humphrey Coliseum Lighting upgrade remains a benchmark for college arena installations.
