Lighting the Home of Champions: Las Vegas Aces Facility
Sportsbeams is proud to power the Las Vegas Aces Facility, a state-of-the-art training headquarters built for the reigning WNBA champions. As the Aces continue their run of dominance – with three league titles in recent years – their practice facility stands as a model of innovation, design, and performance.
Precision Lighting for Elite Performance
Completed in March 2023, the Las Vegas Aces Facility spans more than 80,000 square feet and features 84 of Sportsbeams’ Chromabeams™ LED 350 fixtures (the predecessor to our Chromabeams Orbit Series). Given the deep tones of the Aces’ black wood court and branding (a color tone that absorbs light), achieving accurate illumination required meticulous adjustment and calibration. Our team fine-tuned brightness levels and optics to ensure seamless, balanced lighting across the entire courts.
These precision-engineered lights deliver bright, uniform, glare-free illumination that supports elite athlete performance on and off the court. At its core, this project reflects the Aces’ commitment to excellence. Every practice, every film session, and every shoot around takes place under Sportsbeams lighting designed to maximize focus, visibility, and energy efficiency. Our system ensures accurate color rendering and consistent brightness – vital for both competition and training environments.
Lighting the Future of Women’s Basketball
The Las Vegas Aces Facility isn’t just a gym – it’s a space that represents progress for women’s sports. Beyond serving as the home for players and coaches, it also hosts community events, media sessions, and youth programs. Under the crisp white glow of Sportsbeams lights, the facility radiates inspiration and professionalism.
From championship preparation to community engagement, this project demonstrates how advanced lighting design can elevate every aspect of an organization. With our technology lighting their path, the Aces continue to define what excellence looks like – on the court and beyond.
