Stadium lights are crucial to fan engagement. That’s why prior to the hosting Super Bowl LV, Tampa Sports Authority turned to Sportsbeams Lighting Inc to re-light the Raymond James Stadium. Since installing our Chromabeams LED 900s, the stadium has shined brighter than ever. The Chromabeams LED 900s now provide vibrant RGBAW color throughout the Raymond James Stadium. One could argue that our lights are winning – as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended up going to Super Bowl LV held in their own stadium (a first time in history). Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shined bright under Sportsbeams Lighting. On February 7th, 2021, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl at Raymond James Stadium. The Sportsbeams Lighting team would like to give a special congratulations to the Buccaneers organization for the great accomplishment.
2021 Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance
The NFL’s Super Bowl LV was full of historic moments, including the halftime performance by The Weeknd. The ‘Blinded by the Lights’ artist utilized the Raymond James Stadium’s Chromabeams LED 900 for light show effects during his halftime performance. This was the first time in history that a stadium’s lights were also capable of lighting a halftime performance, thanks to the power of the Chromabeams LED 900. The artist drew in 96.7 million viewers during his halftime performance, and we can safely say no one was ‘blinded by the lights’ thanks to our patented anti-glare technology.
