Sportsbeams proudly joins forces with Austin FC, Major League Soccer’s (MLS) club, to light up the new Q2 Stadium. This partnership, rooted in our shared Austin heritage, aims to revolutionize stadium lighting.
In this exciting collaboration, Sportsbeams brings cutting-edge lighting to Austin FC’s brand new venue. Our team, originating from Austin, Texas, relished the chance to support the city’s first MLS team. We equipped Q2 Stadium with our Chromabeams fixtures, making it the world’s second venue to fully use RGBW LED lighting. This setup promises Austin FC fans a unique ‘verde’ experience, all under the innovative and patented lights of Sportsbeams.
Q2 Stadium Project: A Beacon for Austin
We used 380 Chromabeams LED 900s for the field and 22 Chromabeams LED 350s for various areas of the venue. This project is more than just a landmark for Austin; it’s a symbol of the community’s vibrant spirit, perfectly captured in the slogan ‘alright alright alright’.
